The Moon in Mihai Eminescu Poems

"Over treetops the moon's floating
Forest's leaves are beating smootly,
Echoing throughout alder branches
The horn sounded wistfully.
Peste virfuri trece luna,
Codru-si bate frunza lin,
Dintre ramuri de arin
Melancolic cornul suna

Full Moon March 19th, 2011

The over-sized moon from March 19th, remembered me some fragments of Mihai Eminescu's poems. So I intend just to "moonlighting"  two appearances of the Queen of the Night in his poems, together with breathtaking panoramas, cliffs, water mirrors...  giving a sense of the infinite, love and melancholic moments...

The  moon is clearing a holy path to the heaven
Your big-eyes are looking through the seldom foliage, watching ahead
The stars glimmer over the serene vault of the heaven
The longing lie in your breast, the thoughts bulge out on your forehead.

Luna pe cer trece-asa sfinta si clara,
Ochii tai mari cauta-n frunza cea rara,
Stelele nasc umezi pe bolta senina,
Pieptul de dor, fruntea de ginduri ti-e plina.
